Graduate membership
Graduate membership is designed for physiotherapists in the early years after qualification who want to understand how private practice works and build confidence as their careers begin.
It gives you practical resources, CPD access and a professional community so you can make informed decisions as you develop your practice.
What graduate members tend to use most
Graduate members commonly use Physio First to support the transition from university into practice. This often includes:
- Access to the Physio Matters CPD library and webinars
- Member webinars and practical learning focused on private practice
- Resources and professional insight through the In Touch journal
- Guidance that supports confidence, safe decisions and good early habits
Starting out in private practice
Many graduate members begin with the Private Practice Essential Guide. It provides practical insight into how private practice clinics operate and what early career physiotherapists often want to know.

Graduate members can connect with other physiotherapists at a similar stage through events, webinars and professional discussions. This provides a supportive space to learn, ask questions and build confidence as you develop your clinical and professional judgement.
