Chaired by Katie Knapton, Chair of Physio First and a practising physiotherapist and clinic owner, the discussion will explore how AI is being used across the patient and practice journey – from attracting and engaging patients through to internal processes, systems and the patient experience.
We’ll also look at the practical considerations around governance, adoption, integration and return on investment – including where AI genuinely helps and where it may simply add unnecessary complexity.
The panel discussion will run from 18:30–19:15, with audience questions included. There will also be plenty of time during the evening for drinks, finger food and conversation with other clinic owners, practice leaders and the panel.
What will we explore?
- Trust and governance: What should you be asking about GDPR, compliance and patient data before introducing AI into your practice?
- Return on investment: How do you know whether a tool is genuinely saving time or adding value, and why does staff adoption matter?
- Your existing systems: How should AI fit alongside the systems you already use, and what does meaningful integration actually look like?
- The patient experience: Where can AI improve the patient journey, and what happens beyond the consultation?
- Marketing and patient re-engagement: Where can AI help practices of different sizes, and where might it add unnecessary complexity?
- AI phone agents: How are they being used, how do patients respond to them and could they help practices manage missed calls and different appointment types?
Who is it for?
This evening is for clinic owners and practice leaders in private MSK and physiotherapy practice.
Whether you are a sole practitioner exploring AI for the first time, already experimenting with tools such as ChatGPT, or part of a larger practice considering how AI could fit across your organisation, the discussion will focus on practical application rather than the technology for technology’s sake.
