As a Physio First member you could be part of our unique Data for Impact programme. This involves monitoring patient outcomes and promoting physiotherapy, and it could help further your career.
With our innovative data collection tool – developed by Physio First in collaboration with the University of Brighton – you can record and upload anonymous patient treatment and outcomes that enable us to produce regular reports specific to you and your clinic.
Whether you’re a private physiotherapist working alone, or part of a large practice, Data for Impact is an invaluable business tool for benchmarking your clinical skills.
Data for Impact is our online, standardised, data collection tool created by us in collaboration with the University of Brighton. You can use it to input and analyse data on your practice, patients, treatments and outcomes. Taking part in Data for Impact is the first step to becoming a Quality Assured Practitioner (QAP) or Quality Assured Clinic (QAC) status.
Physio First has produced a video about ‘Getting started’ and a leaflet – ‘Making the most of your data.’
In ‘Getting started’ you are shown how to access the software, select and add patients and input, review and collect data.
In ‘Making the most of your data’ you can read tips on how best to use your tailor-made data, reports and patient profiles. The data can be used in areas such as marketing your business, performance monitoring, benchmarking your practice, managing patient expectations and developing staff.
