Chartered physiotherapists have trained for and passed state recognised physiotherapy examinations allowing them to practise within the NHS or privately. A chartered physiotherapist works to treat injury and disease with natural, physical methods. No drugs are used and most physiotherapists offer a range of different treatments. Increasingly, physiotherapists are trained to use acupuncture alone, or in conjunction with other physiotherapy treatments, which can be very effective.
