"My one word description to sum up my first conference would be ‘WOW’ and it has already changed my clinical practice."

"Physio First are lucky enough to have connections with a charity that provides the funds to support the engagement of the very best speakers both from around the world, and here in the UK."

Up to 500 private physiotherapy professionals are expected to join us at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham where Physio First will be introducing a number of speakers and presenters from across the world as part of a two-day programme covering the theme of “Body, Brain and Business: tools for success.”

The Physio First Conference is specifically for physiotherapists in private practice. Our conference team includes Physio First members who, like all private physiotherapists, face the challenges of the providing effective, evidence based physiotherapy treatment to their patients while running successful businesses. As the healthcare market in which we work is constantly changing, often driven by the requirements of health insurance intermediaries, changes in the NHS, local government, economic and political factors, we need the skills and knowledge to meet these clinical and business demands.

Get acquainted with one of our international speakers, Tania Pizzari! Here she discusses how essential Physio First conferences are and, in particular, why you should attend her course...

It is with this theme of Body, Brain and Business: tools for success in mind that our incredible line-up of speakers have come together to give you a weekend full of informative lectures and up to date research covering a range of specialist topics; areas that include the shoulder, the hip, lower back pain, information on biomechanics, men's health, and business management. Over the two days our speakers will discuss the most up-to-date, research-led treatment and rehabilitation techniques that will improve your knowledge in a way that reflects your own clinical focus and supports your CPD.

In the ever-changing healthcare marketplace we, as an organisation, understand that it is more crucial than ever to remain up-to-date with all the latest happenings in the world of physiotherapy and it is with our 37th annual conference that our aim is to provide the best possible lectures on all the current topics that will advance not only your career, but also your private practice, associate’s learning and your understanding of the healthcare world.

This is a conference programme that guarantees that there will be something of interest for everyone.
